Fire hood may be easily installed from below or above the ceiling.

With cable entries on side, the intumescent covers are ventilated to avoid light fittings overheating. Cables can also be passed under the rim of the cover for connections to transformers or drivers.

Only the light fitting penetration is required to be protected, not the transformer. Tested to BS476 Part 23.  Fire-rated to 60 Mins.
